In this consulting video I share the importance of retention. Sure you are recruiting a bunch of real estate agents in to your real estate brokerage, but how many are staying. What’s your ratio of agents staying or agents going?
Real Estate Agent Retention
There’s lots of things you could do to increase retention. It could be getting agents engaged in real estate training classes or getting them involved in a real estate coaching program.
I have worked with enough real estate brokerages to know that if a real estate recruit does not feel welcomed and comfortable in their new environment that don’t keep coming back into the real estate office.
I can’t tell you how many real estate agent recruits I’ve seen sign their paperwork, bring their license in and never set foot in that real estate office again.
You can use the concept that I share in the consulting video to build your Ambassador Council, so that the recruit has some familiar faces they know. Current real estate agents in the office that can engage them and reach out to them.
If you want to help retaining agents, get them connected to five people already in your real estate office. Those people don’t have to be staff. They don’t have to be agents. Make them a mixture of the most friendly people your office has to offer.
